New Baby Building opens!

Our new purpose-built Baby building is now welcoming parents and babies to The Children's Garden.

As part of our 2019 expansion we wanted to create an under-2s area of the nursery, where our youngest children could have access to their own garden and more space for messy and creative play. This meant relocating our Explorers (younger toddlers) from their previous rooms in our back building into the original Baby Room and Vinery/Office. So our plans included a new standalone baby building at the front of the nursery and opening up onto their own garden, which they shared with the Explorers. The garden has been revamped as well.

The new Baby Building is timber-lined and comes with underfloor heating so that it is nice and cosy for our babies as they move around. The decor is homely, calm and with some stimulating touches - come and see for yourselves!

The office has been relocated to a new building inside our Walled Garden and we replaced the old garden gate while using the original ironmongery. There is also a staff room and a new Boot Room for the children based in our Walled Garden.
